As I look back, I see that it is often that I have believed a small lie (or lies) that Satan has whispered to me. Then, I may move away from God without even realizing I'm doing it. Then, the fear kicks in and I find myself asking, \"Why don't I feel close to God?\"",[11,15,16],{},"God reminds us in Isaiah 41:10: \"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand.\" He is always there. Though, he may be quiet sometimes.",[11,18,19],{},"We are encouraged in Isaiah 55:6-7 to: \"Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.\" I love this! We can seek God and call on him--he is near. If even a wicked man and an evil man can forsake his ways and thoughts and be freely forgiven—then I can, too. This is called repentance. The good news is that God will have mercy on us and freely pardon!",[11,21,22],{},"He loves to see people come to him because he loves us so much! We are reminded of this in the story of the Prodigal Son. It says in Luke 15:20: \"So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.\" God loves you tenderly--you are his child.",[11,24,25],{},"Don't believe your fears and the little lies that Satan may whisper to you. God reveals his character to us throughout the Bible and through his Spirit. God loves you and wants to be in a relationship with you. He wants you to know him and grow in your relationship with him.
